The Pennsylvania Hospitality Foundation

The Pennsylvania Hospitality Foundation is PTLA’s educational foundation. It is a 501(C) (3) corporation and is registered as a charity with Pennsylvania’s Department of State.

According to its Mission Statement “The Pennsylvania Hospitality Foundation has been created to provide scholarships, address job training and development needs, and to insure the preservation and growth of the Commonwealth's tourism and hospitality industry.”

The Foundation has a separate Board of Trustees and financial operations. Funds for its projects are raised in several ways: private donations, the Annual PA Hospitality Industry Golf Tournament, and from grants by the state or other foundations for specific projects.

In accordance with this mission, the Foundation’s main project has been the Training for Lodging Careers program (follow link for more information).
