PTLA's 2009 Hospitality Management & Human Resources Conference was held April 27 & 28 at the Radisson Valley Forge Hotel and Convention Center in King of Prussia. Education and resources were provided for all levels of lodging management and human resource professionals.
Highlights of the Conference included a general session entitled “Recruit, Train and Motivate in Good and Bad Times” presented by Arte Nathan, Vice President of Human Resources, The Irvine Company. Arte is considered Nations #1 Speaker on Human Resources.
In addition, several knowledgeable speakers offered outstanding informational workshops on a variety of topics including: Green Initiatives; Keeping Staff Motivated; Turning Corporate Information into Management Wisdom; and Creating a Culture of Service Excellence. The Conference also offered a Trade Show with a wide range of exhibitors to give attendees the opportunity to see first hand the latest products and services available.
