Educational Resources
PTLA not only values the financial growth of your business but your employees as well. Without qualified staff, management or hourly employees, you could not survive. We want to help you give back to them and help them grow and learn to be better at what they do. PTLA offers a series of webinars on topics such as HR, Sales, Operations and everything in between, and all from the property location or anywhere with a telephone and internet. This enables all businesses to provide education and training without the hassle of leaving the business. PTLA also offers educational conferences on Sales & Marketing, Food & Beverage and Governmental Affairs. We provide the facility, industry experts as speakers, lots of networking and an enormous amount of information to take away. |

PTLA not only focuses on the current industry professionals but the professionals of tomorrow with the PA Hospitality Foundation. The Pennsylvania Hospitality Foundation has been created to provide scholarships, address job training and development needs, and to insure the preservation and growth of the Commonwealth's tourism and hospitality industry. Our annual Golf Tournament in September at the Hershey Country Club benefits the TLC program for high schools and career centers in Pennsylvania.

Innkeepers can benefit from exposure and traffic generated from PAINNS.COM (our B&B-specific website) and its companion printed guide (the PA Inns Directory), which is available in the PennDOT-operated welcome center throughout the state.
Aspiring Innkeepers looking for information on starting a B&B in Pennsylvania can order the ABCs of B&Bs. This publication was developed buy our Unique Lodging Committee, answering the question What questions would you have liked to have answered when you were starting your inn business? |
There are many ways to get noticed and get involved with PTLA. With 7 standing committees, we are confident you will find one of interest to you to network and work on relationship building.
