Students from the Clarion County Career Center participate in room inspections during the Annual State Training for Lodging Careers Competition.

Did you know that 28 high schools and vo-tech schools in the Commonwealth offer a two-year lodging specific curriculum for 11th and 12th high school students?

This successful lodging management program is called Training for Lodging Careers (TLC).

Each year, the PTLA hosts a golf tournament on behalf of the Pennsylvania Hospitality Foundation as a fundraiser for the TLC Program. This year's tournament will be held on Thursday, September 6th at the Hershey Country Club. Proceeds are needed to provide support and operational assistance to participating schools as well as textbooks and instructional materials to new schools.

There are three ways you can support the hundreds of students currently enrolled in the TLC Program:

1. Play a round of fun-filled golf at the Hershey Country Club
2. Sign up as a sponsor
3. Attend the reception, dinner and awards presentation

Come out and enjoy a fun-filled day of golf on the East Course of the beautiful Hershey Country Club. The tournament begins with a picnic lunch followed by a shotgun start at 12:30 pm. The method of play is Scramble. Complimentary beverages and snacks will be provided throughout your play by your Association's smiling staff. The day will conclude with a reception, delicious dinner and awards presentation in the new Picard Grand Pavilion.

Many sponsorship levels are available from a Hole Sponsor to a Platinum Sponsor. These sponsorship opportunities are a great way to get the name of your company or hotel in front of industry leaders playing in the Tournament.
