Jeffrey Frank, wife Kristin Illick, and kids Emma and
Asher, farm at Liberty Gardens (libertyorganic.com) in
Coopersburg, PA since 2000. They produce specialty
vegetables for fine restaurants, and the Emmaus
Farmers market, where Jeffrey serves as President.
Jeffrey grew up and worked in New York City, where he
was involved in environmental improvement work ranging
from horticulture in Central Park, to toxic waste
cleanups in Brooklyn. He has a BA in history and an
MS in Natural Resources Management from the University
of Michigan.
