Protect Your Business Against Fraud
In today's busy society it can be very easy for someone to commit fraud at the point of sale. We have all seen the latest commercial promoting how quickly and easily you can purchase anything with your Visa card. Any other method stops progress in its tracks.
While having that kind of convenience at the point of sale is beneficial to patrons of your business, you the merchant must take a moment to verify that the card is valid and not a fake. If you accept a fraudulent card you could be liable for a chargeback and loss of the merchandise or services you provided. So what can you do to protect yourself from someone attempting to use a stolen or counterfeit card?
