The Pennsylvania Restaurant and Foodservice Expo returns to Pittsburgh on April 6 & 7, 2008. Hundreds of exhibitors will be vying for your attention, including many of the broadliners, making it easy for you to comparison shop! The Expo floor is open from 11:00am - 5:00 pm both Sunday and Monday.

In addition to exhibitors displaying the latest foods, flavors, equipment, techniques and trends, we're bringing back some of the main ingredients of last year's show, and spicing them up with a few new ideas!

Parking
Park at the Convention Center for $10/day, or park at 15th and Smallman in the Strip District for just $5/day and take advantage of a free shuttle from the Strip District to the Convention Center and back (entrance to the parking lot and the shuttle pick up/drop off is just across from Lidia's Restaurant). Handicapped parking is available at the Convention Center.

Culinary and Competitions and Salon
The American Culinary Federation Pittsburgh Chapter invites all chefs and cooks to participate in its Contemporary Hot Food Competition. On Sunday, April 6, compete to showcase skill and style while preparing a savory award winning veal dish. If pork is your forte, compete on Monday, April 7 to reveal your delicious hidden talents!

Both competitions will be judged by an American Culinary Federation approved panel. ACF medals and cash prizes will be awarded. The competitions are co-sponsored by Chef Magazine, Penn Fixture and Supply, Co., the Pennsylvania Beef Council, National Pork Board, Pennsylvania Pork Producers Council, Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture and Cargill Meat Solutions.
