Brad Bonnell
Brad Bonnell, CPP is employed by the Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) as the Director of Security and Investigations and has been so employed since November 1993. His primary responsibility is to conduct investigations into any serious incident occurring at company-managed properties and in particular those events, which bear the threat of litigation in the form of a premises security liability lawsuit. He is also responsible for conducting investigations into employee misconduct, executive protection and special event security. Brad also plays a significant role in the development and delivery of life safety and security training programs for IHG.
Prior to entering the hospitality industry, Brad had a law enforcement career having served as:
- The Chief of Staff for the Georgia State Patrol
- Special Agent, Georgia Bureau of Investigation
- Special Agent, US Army Criminal Investigation Command
- Detective, Whitefield County Sheriff's Department, Dalton, Georgia
Brad graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor's degree in Criminology.
