Carol Eicher
Penn State Hospitality Services

Carol Eicher is Director of Human Resources for Penn State Hospitality Services (PSHS), two hotels owned and operated by the Pennsylvania State University, The Nittany Lion Inn, The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel and the Penn State Laundry. Eicher joined the university in 1997, having served 20 years in human resources, 10 in the hospitality industry.

Prior to moving to Pennsylvania, Eicher was Director of Human Resources for Four Seasons USA, a 7,200 acre resort development in central Missouri including 311-room hotel, development and construction company, sales and services, three vacation ownership villages, a full service marina, a racquet and country club, and three golf courses.

Eicher earned certification in Human Resource Management from the University of Minnesota and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Society of Human Resource Managers (SHRM).

Eicher is a founding member and President of the Community Diversity Group (CDG). Formed in 2001, the Community Diversity Group is a non-profit corporation in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, a coalition of private citizens and people from business, Penn State, government and non-profits committed to making the atmosphere in general and workplaces in particular, in the State College community as inclusive as possible.

Eicher is a development team member and co-facilitator of the America's Promise program. PSHS was the first Hotel of Promise in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is completing the seventh year of a program providing marketable skills to Centre County youth.
