Required Posting for Hotels
Though is it no longer a requirement for Pennsylvania hotels to post rates on their room doors (the former statutory provision requiring this was repealed in 1982) there are two statutes that should be posted...
The PTLA's Innkeeper Non-Liability Cards proclaim non-liability for valuables not placed in safes, and contain all the information required for PA hotels to post. No lodging facility should be without these notices in each guestroom. PA Laws states that they must be placed in "not less than ten conspicuous places."
You can order the Innkeeper Non-Liability Cards, as well as the plastic sleeves to display them, from PTLA's website at www.patourism.org/pubs.
