Carol Verret, Carol Verret Consulting & Training

Carol Verret is a twenty-year veteran of the hotel industry, having begun her career with Westin and Four Seasons Hotels. In 1990 she joined Sunstone Hotels and facilitated the company's growth from seven to 23 hotels at her departure. In 1994 she assisted in taking the company from a privately held to publicly listed company on the NYSE. She lived in Australia for two years where she was the program director and taught in a School of Hospitality and Tourism at Goulbourne Ovens Tafe institute.

Carol Verret and Associates, Consulting and Training, established in 1999, specializes in training and consulting in sales, marketing, revenue management and customer service primarily but not exclusively for the hospitality industry. CVCT delivers topics in these subjects through live seminars, consulting services, web casts and personal coaching.

Carol conducts seminars both domestically and internationally and believes every participant should depart with 'tools they can use' when they return to their offices. Carol also publishes a regular e-newsletter in these subjects and is regularly published in Hotel Online, Hotel Resource, Hospitality Upgrade and various other publications such as Asian Hospitality.
